Thank you to Monica for entrusting us at Sabelia Papillons with Rio and the exquisite Scandinavian/American bloodlines he introduces to Australia. We are very excited about our future and look forward to establishing our lines with this stunning young dog.
Rio had a limited but successful show career in Northern California and is AKC pointed. We thank Monica for her training and handling expertise in preparing him for the ring in Australia.
His 3rd show at The Papillon (Dog) Club of NSW Inc 100th Championship Show Rio won the Dog Challenge and Runner Up Best Exhibit in Specialty Show from the Junior Dog class! Only 2 weeks out of quarantine! A huge thank you to the Judge Mrs H Beasley (NSW) for awarding the quality in our stunning boy.
Rio attained his Championship title in style, winning Dog Challenge, Best of Breed, Runner Up Best In Group and Junior In Group just 4 months after arriving in Australia and one day before he turned 17 months old.
Rio has been campaigned by Ian Rasmussen and Kaye McGhie in Queensland with astounding success. In just 3.5 short months he made it to #2 Papillon in Australia for 2018 and #1 Papillon in Australia in 2019. He attained his Supreme Championship title in 2020 and is now back in South Australia after a very successful show career up there. My most heartfelt thank you to Ian and Kaye for everything you have done with him.
