At 4 months of age and in his first weekend of showing, we ventured out to the prestigious North of the Harbour shows.
In his first ever show Marcus hit the ring with a bang… placing 2nd in a very large line up of 30 beautiful babies in the 3 - 6 months sweepstakes (all breeds).
Later that day he was award 'Best Baby Puppy in Group' under Labrador Breed Specialist, Dr Chevaun Haseldine (SA). Always so satisfying to get recognition from a breed specialist.
The next day he followed it up with another 'Best Baby Puppy in Group' under respected Gundog and Retriever specialist, Mrs Heather Morrison (TAS).
Thank you to both judges for the lovely feedback you gave on this youngster. Sean and I do feel he is a very promising puppy and we are hoping to have some fun with him along the way… and we have really missed having a male dog to show!
We must thank Ray and Susie Attard for entrusting Marcus to us for the show ring. He has a beautiful international pedigree and is an absolute credit to Ray and Susie's breeding and for the effort they have put into bringing in different bloodlines into Australia.
