Our imported Boy CHARLAIN LIGLIO DI CAFIERO , (Leo) a dog, which we hope, will broaden the gene pool of the Maremma breed within Australia. Leo is the son of Cafiero breed by Italian Breeder, D Agostino whose has bred and shown Cafiero and his progeny at “Crufts” in 2007 and 2008, being awarded “Best of Breed “ At both shows . Leo was 28 months on 6 Jul 10 and weighs 48Kg.. Charlotte Walsh, in the UK, took her Bitch “Penelope at Charlian (It)” back to Italy for the mating. We now have pups sired by Leo from our Bitch Sandy, they were born on the last day of September and have all gone to new homes where they are much loved.
