It's a pleasure to play with such a good natured and enthusiastic boy, with the looks to go with such a lovable personality. At the moment we are enjoying his entrance into the baby ring and look forward to Ryder making a memorable presence in the show world.
Along with his mother Nessa, he is fulfilling so many dreams and providing a lot of fun along the way.
Ryder's critique from the Collie Championship Show 2013 under Judge Tomas Rohlin (Denmark) follows:
...17 months. Big boy. Good length of head. Nice flat skull. A bit cheeky. Very good muzzle. Good underjaw. Nice dark eye. Excellent ears. Very good proportions, with very good neck. Very good bone and ribcage. Would like better angles in front, good behind. Good tail. Very good coat texture. Moves nicely but would like more elasticity and a stronger topline. Excellent temperament.
Taking out challenge at the Collie Club of Victoria championship show 2017 the judge from the UK, Mrs B White had this to say about Ryder:
...Challenge Dog was Hoggard’s Ch Wiru Let it Ride, litter brother to the BOB and quite different but a dog of great quality. His maturity and finish on the day won him the challenge. He is correctly constructed with very good overall balance, excellent angulations, correct length of back, super reach of neck, enabling him to move effortlessly and again giving the impression of a dog fit for function. His head is very pleasing, being clean and balanced with a sweet yet masculine expression.
We are grateful to Helen Green for the playful profile photo taken at 3 months and the stacked shot from the CCV champ show 2013. Also thanks to Nicole Toohey for the lovely gaiting shot at the show he achieved his title at!!!
