As well as being just gorgeous, Cady has a wonderful work ethic, participating in training and trialing with enthusiasm and commitment. She’s constantly keen to engage, is a quick learner and highly versatile, traits that she has transmitted to all her offspring. It’s only the limited hours in my busy days that have stopped her from successful careers in tracking and herding as well – she loves them, and has produced puppies who have achieved success in both areas.
Cady was twelve in December 2014 and continues to delight in training and trialling. She completed her Rally-O Novice and Rally Advanced titles in 2012, her Rally Excellent title early in 2013 and gathered the final of the pairs of passes she needed for her Rally Advanced / Excellent title in mid July 2013.
Cady is now revelling in semi-retirement, with occasional forays into Rally to continue setting the standard for her daughters and grandchildren. She set the standard in style at the 2014 Border Collie Nationals scoring our first ever 100 to win her Advanced B class. And, more recently, she gained Highest in Trial at the Border Collie Club of Victoria's 2015 Trial.
