Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

We are a very small kennel situated on 60 acres,currently having only one litter per year. We therefore have plenty of time to spend with the pups and they are handled by children and adults since birth.
Our dogs have been selected from Champion Driftway and Silverstream lines and have been choosen for soundness, temperament, confirmation and good looks.
Our aim is to bred excellent quality pups that have been very well socialised that will fit well into any enviroment be that show, breeding or as a much loved pet.
Nalandalea is a small breeder located at Mooball in the beautiful Tweed Valley of Northern NSW. We have a 25 acre farm with stock horses and cattle, and our dogs share this environment as part of our family.
Our labradors are chocolate and black and have been hip/elbow scored. We have been breeding happy and healthy pups for 15 years and breed for temperament, quality and soundness.

She was highest scoring non champion dog at National Retrieving Trial Championships (Perth in 2023). Her DNA profile plus that of the sire is clear of all known faults or genetic defects. The sire - “Lewis” (Luna Ridge Mr Hoad) is a top working Labrador, calm, with a gentle nature, but competing at the highest level of retrieving (All Age). Both Sire and Dam are from 5 generations of champion imported American and UK bloodlines, with impeccable pedigrees and have the balance of drive, tractability, intelligence and are highly motivated and trainable.

Trudgalong has been breeding labs for 50 years from a healthy line of females. We have introduced top male stud dogs through the years.We have yellow, black and chocolate pups throughout the year to approved homes.

We are a small breeder, located on acres, in the Hills district of Sydney. The temperaments of our dogs are wonderful and they are much loved members of our family. Some of our past puppies have gone on to become Delta dogs and assistance dogs. Our breeding stock is clear of EIC and PRCD by DNA and/or parentage and are from imported lines. Hips and elbows are scored and certified, with good to excellent results.

I am a small kennel in Nowra NSW aiming to breed quality, sound Labradors with a loving temperament for all people. All due diligence regarding hips, elbows, eyes etc have been done before mating and are available to anybody enquiring.

We strive to provide labradors with the most wonderful true to standard temperaments that are suitable for devoted family companions, service work, therapy work and the show ring. Once health is established we breed firstly for temperament. Before having puppies all our breeding animals are temperament assessed, full breed DNA tested and hip & elbows xrayed for soundness. We work closely with our vets and other ethical breeders.
We are registered with Dogs NSW and adhere strictly to their code of conduct. We passed our site inspection with flying colours.
Our pups are born and raised in our home. They experience household noises and happenings and are well socialised with exposure to children, dogs, cats, visitors, crates training, car rides and toilet training. We start training very early in the puppies lives along with daily cuddles. We believe puppy socialisation and training starts with the breeder and we want to give each of our pups every chance to become a stable and valued family or team member.
We start puppies in a good direction but they require ongoing training and love from their new owners. Labradors crave the company of their families and so do not cope well with extended time alone. They often bark excessively and become destructive. Nothing beats the company of a well trained and loved labrador.
We enjoy getting to know new puppy owners and we particularly enjoy news and pictures as the puppy grows.

Parents are health checked, Hip/Elbow Scored and DNA tested. Puppies are clear for EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse) and PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy). Our Labradors and their puppies are well socialised in our family environment of adults and children. The puppies are wormed from 2 weeks, every 2 weeks till 8 weeks of age, vaccinated at 6 weeks (vaccination certificate provided). They are vet checked and micro-chipped. The Puppies will be registered with DOGS Australia on Limited Pedigree papers, come with 6 weeks free puppy insurance, collar, lead, blanket, a puppy information booklet with a feeding guide and information about looking after your new puppy.
