Pekingese were our first breed since 1990. Our first girl, Aust Ch Nadyor Penny Tu, now deceased, took out Best of Breed at the Sydney Royal at the age of two years old.

We are a small kennel situated in Nabiac in the Manning Valley near Forster on 3.5 landscaped acres. We have owned Pekingese 15 years.
We have bred Best in Show and multiple Best in Group winning dogs in NSW and around the country. This breed has captured our hearts and we have dedicated a lot of time and effort. We added to the gene pool by importing dogs from Malaysia and Scotland.
Jon is a licensed judge for Group 1, Group 3, Group 6 and Group 7.

Khyleini is a small kennel focussed on quality Pekingese from some of the world’s most impressive bloodlines. Proud members of Dogs Tasmania, Khyleini is owned by Jan Hellessey in Hobart and Fabio Menezes in Melbourne.
Khyleini is currently the 2023 #1 Pekingese breeder in Australia and was #1 Pekingese breeder in Australia in 2022. Our dogs have consistently ranked as #1 in Australia for a number of years, including Best in Show and Best in Group winners in Australia’s largest shows.
Khyleini litters are rare, typically once or twice a year when we need to produce our next show dogs. Pet puppies and older dogs are occasionally available to forever homes.

Breeding Pekingese for type and conformation and in a variety of colours available including cream, red, black, black and tan and hopefully soon parti-colours.
Show and pet puppies are sometimes available to approved homes only.

Zhen Kennels has moved with me from Australia to Hong Kong to the US and back again. We specialize in heritage colours, such as black and tan and self-coloured cream, which are getting harder to find these days. Zhen The Cleverman is a "flame-faced" black and tan (see photo) and his half-brother, Zhen the Explorer, are available to approved bitches. We are expecting a few litters next year.
Our dogs also have typical Pekingese temperaments and beautiful breathing! Dr Hilary du Cros (owner) first started in Pekingese at 10 years old and has owned and bred pekingese over many years.
I’ve extended my show team with Pekes from a long time and respected breeder Miyoko. Since showing my Pekes my first girl Ishka gained her champion title at only 10mths with winning many BOB, class in group wins and 2 junior in show wins. My very first homebred boy Azar has picked up 8 baby of breeds, 4 baby in groups and 3 baby in shows. I’m only a small kennel in Tasmania and only breed to extend my show team and will sometimes have babies available to approved loving homes.

Hi, my name is Maggie and I am based in South Australia near the foot of Southern Flinders Ranges, and I am happy to admit that I am dedicated to the Pekingese breed. My focus is on constant improvement, breeding consistently to the breed standard, and raising happy healthy puppies.
